If You Haven't Read Them You Should, They Are Pretty Good Sized Books But Depending How Often You Read Them You Could Finish Quite Fast. I Read The Whole Series Within A Month And A Half, Between Work, Dinner, Bathtime, Playtime, Reading Time, And My Son's Bedtime Or I Would Read It To Him. Read Them All! Buy It If You Haven't Done So Already. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ?!?!?!?!? (02 September 2010)WHERE IS EDWARD?!?!? I thought throughout, Twilight, Bella and Edward were soul mates. And now all of a sudden Edward leaves and Bella is lightening quick to fall in love with the next unnatural being she can come across? This was a sad and unexpected plot twist, ad it ruined the rest of the series for me. -VCH ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Very good young adult preternatural romance (28 August 2010)I enjoyed the book (New Moon) and have read all the books in the Twilight Saga. I think that it is appropriate for young adults. I must admit that I am a fan of the "Edward" character, and only became interested in the books after seeing the first movie. I wish that author had written the book from Edward's point of view, but then it would not have been a young adult book. All the books are good...great summer fare.New Moon (The Twilight Saga) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() For the Fan (27 August 2010)As a fan of the series this was a must read. It is definitely not my favorite book. However for books 3 & 4 to make sense you need to invest the time. Don't get me wrong, it is well written I just didn't like how things were happening: too much anguish and not enough happiness. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Amazingly Boring (25 August 2010)I'm not going to go into detail about the many problems with the Twilight series, but with New Moon Stephanie Meyer has managed to miraculously produce so-called literature that, for only the second time in my life, actually made me stop reading a book. I was reading the books so I could discuss them with my friend, but New Moon's amazing stretched-out nothingness proved to be stronger than I was. I plodded through Twilight, putting up with its awesomely bad writing, plot-holes, flat characters, and eye-roll inducing dialogue, but New Moon had all this plus boredom, and that was simply too much. The good news is that hospitals can save a fortune on anesthesia--all the surgeon has the do is read aloud from the book and the patient will be out like a light. | ![]() |
