I soon as I seen it in the store I had to buy it, compared to most cooking books it has pictures instructions how to prepare classic food starting from info how to shop for produce fallowing by cooking techniques. The best I can recommend is to see this book in person.

This book is written like a text book. Lots of pages on what pans to use for cooking, what meats to buy, etc. There are many really great pictures throughout also.
